Dame Margo is a fabulous antique English teddy, possibly by Terry's but she also has a look of Teddy Toy's and Farnell bears, so I have not attributed a manufacturer to her and leave it to individual opinion to decide.
She has lovely glass eyes which were painted on their backs, a pronounced snout with brown nose/mouth stitching, original web claws stitching and original paw pads, although there are some darned repairs to her left paw pad and both of her feet pads.
She has such a fabulous shape with a wonderful barrel chest and apart from some fur loss to her back and the back of her legs, is still in excellent condition for such an ancient girl!
Complete with antique lace bonnet.
